Hicran works as a cloakroom attendant at a nightclub. On New Year's Eve, after a year filled with poverty and hardship, she meets Orhan, a flirtatious young man. Hicran cannot muster the courage to accept the young man's love and commitment due to the differences between them, and she leaves him in despair.
