Directing

When a twenty-something retail clerk encounters a rising pop star, he takes the opportunity to edge his way into the in-crowd. But as the line between friend and fan blurs beyond recognition, access and proximity become a matter of life and death.
Making of featurette on the Blu-ray release of DÌDI (弟弟) (2024)
A portrait of growing up told through filmmaker Sean Wang's middle school yearbook. Go Hornets.
Burdened by an expired visa, a young couple spend what could be their last night together.
In 2008, during the last month of summer before high school begins, an impressionable 13-year-old Taiwanese American boy learns what his family can't teach him: how to skate, how to flirt, and how to love your mom.
Over the course of a hot summer day in Los Angeles, the lives of 25 young Angelinos intersect. A skating guitarist, a tagger, two wannabe rappers, an exasperated fast-food worker, a limo driver—they all weave in and out of each other's stories. Through poetry they express life, love, heartache, family, home, and fear. One of them just wants to find someplace that still serves good cheeseburgers.
A multigenerational story celebrating director Sean Wang's two grandmothers, one on his father's side and the other on his mother's side.
