Kyoko and her mother Yuki returned to their hometown of Fukui. Yuki runs a dressmaker's store in the city, and Kyoko has taken a job as a nurse at a prefectural hospital. The film depicts the daughter's attempt to grow from adolescence to adulthood in a family of one mother and one daughter, and her emotional exchange with her mother against the backdrop of the harsh natural environment.

This is a moody entertainment work depicting the love, laughter, melancholy, and human drama of an iron-fisted daughter of a family of expositors who, after her father's death, disbanded her gang and moved to Tokyo by herself, where she becomes a hostess and demonstrates her natural chivalrous temperament, risking her life in the neon-lit Ginza district.

The group led by Teruko was the most famous in the port city of Yokohama. One day, however, a group claiming the same name as Teruko and her group appeared and began extorting them. The group was led by Rosa, who had come from Hayama. Teruko and the others were taken in by Detective Jitsusei on suspicion of extortion, and were even doused with oil. What saved the day was a witness, a runaway daughter named Toshie. Toshie is a half-sister.

A gang lord hires Kamimura, a hit man, to take out a rival boss who's gotten greedy.

Emerging from a stint in prison, yakuza lieutenant Sumukawa discovers that his gang has disintegrated. Violence never bothered him. However, after being sentenced to three years in prison for stabbing a rival gang’s hit man, he becomes disenchanted with the Yakuza life style. Goro is determined to start anew, but karma catches up. His two closest friends are murdered by his ex-boss. He is left with two options: to kill or be killed.
