Work grows more interesting when a new crate containing the body of a famous serial killer arrives to be stored in the warehouse for the week. Strange things start to happen which eventually threaten the well-being of the night crew. The crew tries to explain the strange happenings by basing them on an old phenomenon called "Old Hag."

An aspiring recording artist, Adam, is burned by a bad relationship experience and decides that if women won't respond to the "nice guy" then he'll be "the jerk." When Benjamin Steed and Mary Ann Steed relocate their family to upstate New York in the early 1800's, they unwittingly settle in a town divided along religious lines.
