Santosh Dutta (2 December 1925 - 5 March 1988) was an Indian Bengali actor, best known for playing the character of Jatayu in Satyajit Ray's Feluda movies viz. Sonar Kella and Joi Baba Felunath.
The school of a remote and poor village shut down, the head master Krishna Prasanna (Chhabi) migrates to city in search of job. He moves with family, wife Labanya (Karuna), nubile daughter (Ranjana) and very young son. He takes residence with his wife's brother. Pravanjan Haldar was a professional matchmaker. He and his uncle Bhombal did this business together.
