An Emirati man decides to move from al-Fujairah to Abu Dhabi in order to look for a better job and a wife. Instead, he gets into an unexpected adventure when he meets an elderly man who offers him his help.

The story follows a little girl living under the control of a tyrannical father and a submissive mother. As she begins to detach from reality, she creates a private inner world, leading the story into powerful emotional territory.
