All children of Umran and Ferit got married. They are now homeless and they start living with their children. The carelessness of their children will upset them.
The film tells the story of a woman's love affair with a composer she admires. Macide, whose parents are deceased, lives in a small town with her aunt. Macide is in love with the famous composer Vedat Süreyya. She follows all of his programs. One day, Macide's father's friend Süleyman Bey offers to take Macide to Istanbul. Macide is delighted with this offer and moves to Istanbul to live in Süleyman Bey's house. Süleyman Bey's daughter Sacide is uncomfortable with this situation. She and her friends mock Macide for being from the countryside. At that moment, Sacide's boyfriend, Vedat Süreyya, arrives. He also looks down on Macide like the others. However, things will soon take a turn for the worse.
Polat is a young man beloved by the entire town. Bahar, the daughter of Deli Ömer, returns to the town after many years to be with her father. Bahar and Polat fall in love. Polat asks Bahar's father for her hand in marriage. However, Ömer has already promised his daughter to Sami, the son of Rasim, the richest man in town. Polat is looked down upon because he is poor. Unable to bear this pain, he sets out to sea to commit suicide. When Ömer learns that Bahar is pregnant with Polat's child, he agrees to give his daughter away. However, the lovers' reunion depends on miracles.
