Ootori Kazuki (Hitoshi Ozawa), acting wakagashira of the Sakuragi-gumi, accepts his own expulsion to negotiate peace with the rival Sogo-gumi over territory rights. Backed by the nationwide Tenchi-kai, his goal is to protect his family. But it’s all in vain—Tenchi-kai’s ten elite members launch a full-scale attack, crushing the Sakuragi-gumi in his absence. Ootori arrives too late. The Sakuragi residence burns, and before the charred remains of his kin, a phoenix rises from the flames.

The sole survivor of Tenchi-kai’s attack, Ootori (Hitoshi Ozawa) becomes a vengeful force. His target: the head of Tenchi-kai, Kido Tengai (Minori Terada). One by one, Ootori takes down the Tenchi-kai’s elite ten. Facing a massive criminal organization head-on, his fate hangs in the balance. As Ootori (Hitoshi Ozawa) advances toward vengeance against Tenchi-kai, new assassins are sent. Kingo (Yoshiyuki Yamaguchi), a gambling-obsessed man who kills even his parents for greed, and his massive brother Ginzo (Katsuya) attack. The battle is a deadly game of Russian roulette—where yakuza honor and pride hang on the trigger. From the brink of death, the phoenix rises once more!

After defeating Kingo (Yoshiyuki Yamaguchi) in the Russian roulette duel, Ootori (Hitoshi Ozawa) tracks down Tenchi-kai elite Akizuki (Koichi Miura). Pushing forward, he faces the wall of Kingo and Ginzo once again. Meanwhile, Akizuki, abandoned by Tenchi-kai and with nothing left to lose, attacks. The bloody battle begins—what will become of these warriors risking everything for their paths?

Mysterious disappearances and slaughters in a seemingly peaceful and ordinary port town are so bizarre that all the bodies found have been mummified. Detective Junpei investigates this mysterious case. His father, who was also a detective, disappeared 20 years ago while investigating another strange case.

Hosei Dojo is 22 years old and he has yet to have sex. Even though he likes women a lot, he has always had bad luck with them. Wishing to experience a big change in his life, Hosei goes to the Kabukicho. The area is a red-light district in Shinjuku, Tokyo. There, he meets Rumi Itoda who works at a hostess bar and falls in love with her at first sight. He learns that she suffers violence from Takashi Takaoka who works at the same bar. Hosei tries to help Rumi escape from her situation.

Based on a manga written by Tatsuhiko Yamagami, the story is set in a former seaport town Uobuka, where 6 former criminals were sent to live there by the government, with the intention of re-socialising them. Aside from the few who know about the project, the general townsfolk has no idea of the former convicts' identities. Tsukisue is the pleasant and efficient municipal official put in charge of the programme. As he slowly learns about their past, a body is discovered.

One day, Jojima receives a request to kill an old friend, Yamauchi, a young leader of the Oyama clan. His target is Li, the head of the Beijing mafia who killed the clan leader Oyama. Jojima begins to investigate and discovers the existence of an underworld war of interests.
