In front of a man who wants to be a movie director, Shingo, the ghost of Mr. Kawashita, who was a senior in the college film research department who committed suicide a year ago, suddenly appears on his death anniversary. Mr. Kawashita says that he was revived because he wanted to have sex with his junior, Aoi, who had a crush on him when he was in college. In order to fulfill his desire to work with Aoi-chan, Kawashita-san and Shingo will travel back in time on that day when he was in college, which was probably the only chance for Kawashita-san to work with Aoi-chan. There was a nostalgic college Aoi-chan there. Can Mr. Kawashita redo the past and do it with Aoi-chan? It's funny, but a little sad time slip love story begins.

Japan, 1944. A 17-year-old country boy named Norio decides his only option is to follow his late parents’ example and commit suicide. After failing even at that, his 34-year-old English teacher Akemi convinces him that he should instead move to Tokyo with her and become a lawyer on her dime. Unfortunately, Akemi doesn’t have quite as much money as she leads Norio to believe, and has to secretly get a job at a karaoke bar under the guise of “going to the salon”. Meanwhile, she continuously prods her somewhat dimwitted student to work harder toward her manufactured goal of him becoming a lawyer. Although Norio is falling in love with Akemi, he’s not all that interested in studying, and matters only get worse when he discovers his benefactor’s secret source of income.

Ken directs his graduation film "Koko ni Iru Dake" with his colleagues. The movie will be his last film as a student. While shooting the movie, Ken has conflicts with lead actress Risa. On the last day of their filming, their final scene is delayed due to rain. The day before filming resumes, Risa dies in an accident. One year later, Ken's graduation film sits unfinished. Then, Kenspots a woman who looks identical to Risa who turns out to be her twin sister Yoko. Ken then decides to shoot the final scene with Yoko in place of Risa, but, once again, things don't go according to plan.

Katsutoshi is forced to flee his hometown and ends up at a rundown nightclub called "Tokyo Playboy Club." His hot-headedness gets him into further trouble, and the club's waiter Takahiro and his girlfriend Eriko also get caught up in it as their underworld predicament worsens to the point of no return.

At the beginning of the 19th century, Japan was under a policy of national isolation. A group of Dutch scholars who wanted to open the country secretly completed a copy of a map of Japan under shogunate control. They sent a young Dutch scholar, Michi-an, as a secret envoy to deliver the copy of the map to the Dutch. Michi-an, hiding himself and making his way through the deserted winter mountains, but the mountain guardians, led by Takayama, had begun hunting in the mountains with a description of Michi-an's appearance arranged by the shogunate.
