After the dead of the eldest daughter, Germaine and Gilles and their children leave for a holiday in the mountains to restore their bond. However, the killer of their daughter also resides in those mountains and Gilles wants revenge.

Azaña tells the story of the last president of the Second Spanish Republic after the military uprising that led to the tragic Civil War. The film recreates and humanizes the life of the distinguished political figure, Azaña, until his last days in Montauban through the harshness of exile.
