Production
Robert Boner (born 22 July 1949) is a Swiss producer. He started working as a film technician in various capacities starting in 1967. After initially working as a producer at Filmkollektiv in Zurich, he founded his own production companies SAGA Production and Ciné Manufacture in Lausanne and Paris. In his long career, he not only produced over fifty fiction films but was also active in the field of documentaries and animated films. In addition to his multifaceted work as a producer, he was committed to the further development of Swiss film policy, was a cofounder of the GARP association, was involved in the creation of the Pacte de l'audiovisuel and in the introduction of Succès Cinéma before becoming the first Secretary General of Cinéforom in 2011. He is recipient of the 2024 Swiss Film Prize Honorary Award.
