A Javanese mother has to struggle to lead their children against a complex confusion of their age. Unfortunately, the mother realized that actually, her children are trying to lead her too.

The arrest of Haji Jalaluddin during his sermon leaves a strong impression on the hearts of Hamid and Halimah, his followers. Halimah is a wife who is taken for granted by her husband who is pro-Dutch. Hamid is the son of a rich merchant who falls into poverty after being branded as a rebel. His mother takes him to Padang to be raised by the family of Haji Jakfar, who has a daughter, Zainab. Hamid then studies at Padang Panjang and meets old friends, Fakhrudin and Zainudin. Hamid and Fakhrudin have more similar views with their teacher, while Zainudin is more radical. The latter organises a rebellion and fails. The Dutch keeps arresting people. Hamid, disappointed by Zainab’s marriage to someone else, sails to Mecca. Halimah is left to organise the fight for freedom but in the end, is also captured by the Dutch. The film’s message is that a physical fight for freedom, without being based on religious morality, will become meaningless.

Barda the Blind (Ratno Timoer) while at Borobudur, is accused of being the murderer of Bimo Adirekso (Wahid Chan). The children who were killed, Subala (Adang Mansyur) and Subali (Adji Agus), did not care about people's accusations. They fight over their parents' inheritance until a big fight breaks out, which is useless, because the will and the treasure map are in the hands of Sekarningsih (Nuke Maya Saphira), also Ben's daughter, and her boyfriend, Bambang Permadi (Rachmat Kartolo). Selendang Mayang (Rita Zahara) stole the treasure, then it was stolen by another person, all the way to Dieng. Here the battle takes place. This film is presented in a mystery style.
During the revolution, Japan is defeated but has yet to surrender so a 14-year-old boy insists on joining the army, to avenge his father, who is incarcerated in Nusa Kambangan for murder. His actions are brave yet extreme in every way. Recognising this, the commander promotes the boy to section head, even though all his men are older than he is. He takes the most dangerous missions and as a result, one of his men dies. The late man’s girlfriend then volunteers, and is also killed, after being just as reckless as the boy.

It tells the story of Jelita, a girl who was stranded on a remote island as a child after a plane crash. She grows up among an isolated tribe, unaware of her origins. When a group of anthropologists arrives to study the island, Jelita reunites with her father, who turns out to be alive. However, conflicts with treasure hunters and the local tribe make their journey full of danger.
Sari plans to give her virginity to her fiancé, Wisnu. The plan is destroyed when Denny and friends rape her. Then they beat Wisnu until he becomes paralysed. Sari plots her revenge. She tortures the rapists one by one until she meets the leader, Denny. Denny has a poor family background and a widow, Thelma, supports him financially. He is finally found in a club where Sari works as a singer. One day Sari receives an invitation from Thelma. Denny is planning to repeat what he did to Sari. Sari manages to resist and takes her revenge. At the same time Wisnu appears and kills Denny. Then Thelma, kills Wisnu. Sari and Thelma end up in court.
Rainang tries to terrorize a corrupt village leader, Ciming, so that he would resign. But Marsan accidentally kills Ciming. As team leader, Rainang is willing to take responsibility (punishment by exile) while Marsan is appointed as the new village leader and Rausin (Rainang’s son) is sent to the Islamic boarding school. When Rausin returns to Kemayoran, the village leader, Marsan, is now a corrupt man. The Dutch reprimand him as the villagers no longer want to sell rice to them. The village leader then assigns Beureum, an assassin, to get rid of Rausin. But Toha and Cicih, the female warrior, support him. Rainang, who is thought to have passed away, appears and intervenes, and in the end, kills Marsan.
At the Jakarta Fair, there is a rumour that a major tycoon from Makassar will come looking for new machines and a business partner. There is a flurry of excitement as everyone tries to get the tycoon’s employees to drop by their stands. Mansur, one of business owners in the fair, asks his secretary, Sinta, to find Andi Rachmat Syah, the tycoon. Sinta then approaches Andi, a handsome man employed by the tycoon, to find out about his boss. The man promises to tell Sinta on one condition, that she has to take him around the fair. Samiaji, Mansur’s business competitor, who has a crush on Sinta, is jealous when he finds out about it. Till the end of the story, nobody knows that Andi takes Sinta home after nights of going around the Jakarta Fair.

Balung Wesi was defeated in battle and is seeking revenge on Ki Sapu Angin, the teacher of Jaka Sembung, The Warrior. In mobilizing power to fight the Dutch, The Warrior makes the acquaintance of Bajing Ireng (Black Ninja).
