A housewife covertly works in a high-class brothel in Tokyo with other married women. She never wants her husband to know that she is a prostitute. The brothel and its employees were making good money, but after the accidental death of one housewife, things begin to go wrong.

Two men who run an operation of offering prostitutes disguised as masseuses to inns and resorts lose their best wage earner. Desperate to find a replacement they try to recruit women off the street until they finally scout a white woman and a black woman who are willing to work for them. Business booms as hotel clients get a taste of exotic excitement.

Exhausted from searching the city for his missing wife, Kyōhei stumbles into a small bar and falls into a dangerous affair with a mysterious woman named Miwa. A snake tattoo coils around her thigh — a mark of a past she can’t outrun. Then, one day, Miwa reveals she knows where Kyōhei’s wife is… but the truth may be more than he bargained for.
