Her university life is boring and she spends her time reading romance manga in her room. One day, on Twitter, she meets a man who uses the user ID of Sparrow. He likes reading manga and looks like Johnny Depp. Sachiko makes a date to meet the man. She tries to change herself, but it's not so easy due to various unexpected incidents.

The first special centered on Chiaki's story, the story tells about Chiaki's dream to be a conductor. Nodame on the other hand attended the conservatory to attain her dream to one-day play the piano for Chiaki. After her hard work, Nodame was given a chance to have a mini recital. During the recital, Chiaki saw her worth and realized that he cannot go on with out her.

Asuka, a new actress who lives in Tokyo visits Aka island in Okinawa, the southern islands of Japan. Junior high-school student Takeshi, the son of the owner of a guest house, is to show her around with his heart pounding. He can’t imagine himself talking to someone like her who he only sees on a screen. When she walks around, she happens to see a Black sika Deer. Since she heard the legend about Black sika Deer from Takeshi’s father previously, it raises painful memories and accusing voices from her workmate come up to her mind, she gets depressed. Through the day-to-day life on the island with Takeshi, her mood gradually gets changed.
