Richard McGuire is an Alabama man and YouTuber known as "Southern Pirates Outdoors" who made headlines in April 2020 for trespassing on Disney World's abandoned Discovery Island during the COVID-19 lockdown. He described the abandoned, closed-off island as a "tropical paradise" and intended to camp and film there, resulting in a police manhunt, arrest, and a lifetime ban from Disney properties.
