A night of insurrection in Tunis. Nothing is working anymore. Madness has taken hold of the capital and its suburbs. A kind of divine will brings Baya, Mosmar, and Oueld Janet together with the old man on the road to Tunis. Walking through the night, they decide to fight injustice.

When Mariam, a young Tunisian woman, is raped by police officers after leaving a party, she is propelled into a harrowing night in which she must fight for her rights even though justice lies on the side of her tormentors.

Meet Amadeus, a charming 50-year-old Italian antique dealer, who finds himself smitten with the stunning Tunisian beauty, Betty (Badra), a woman much his junior. But as their relationship blossoms, a new challenge arises – the in-laws smell opportunity, envisioning a wealthy, doting son-in-law. And an Imam throws a curveball, demanding Amadeus undergo circumcision and convert to Islam. In this cross-cultural clash, will the power of love prevail, or will tradition and family obligations tear the couple apart?

The Tunisian short film "Pourquoi moi?" (علاش أنا؟), written and directed by Amine Chiboub, is a 13-minute social comedy produced in 2011 by Atlas Vision. Presented in Arabic with French subtitles, the film ironically explores how bad moods spread in an urban environment.

It all started when the Islamist extremist "Chokri" attacked the rehearsal space of his sister "Hasna", actress and singer by trade.
