St. Petersburg, 1860. After a member of the imperial family is assassinated, Fyodor Dostoevsky meets one of the conspirators, who reveals that his comrades are planning another attack to the Tsar's life. Plagued by debts and struggling to finish his latest novel, Dostoevsky must act fast to call off the plot.

It's 2pm. Another school day is over. Sabot, a teacher who has been expelled from the school, shows up armed with a club. A premeditated vandalism turns into a feud. Sabot rages against his colleagues who have ostracized him, but his killing spree won't spare even the boys he has always fought for.

In an unspecified future the human race is struck by a light that pushes those who see it to suicide. But there is someone who tries to save those affected by facing the danger of becoming attached to them.
