Remy Ishak, is a Malaysian actor who was born in Melaka. He was first introduced to the film industry by independent director Osman Ali in 2006. He gained fame for his performance in Nur Kasih directed by Kabir Bhatia, which aired on TV3 in 2009. He later starred in the 2018 film Pulang.

There exists a group of siblings with a very particular set of skills: grand larceny. After rocking the country with a gold bullion heist at the airport, the eldest brother in the group forces them to abandon their life of crime. Osman Ali's "Jiwa Taiko" is a social drama about discovering the meaning of friendship and love, which is often taken for granted

When Ajib (Zizan Razak), a mat rempit, dies as a result of joining an illegal drag race, he becomes a spirit trapped between the world of the living and the dead. Aishah (Diana Danielle) is a young woman living during the Japanese Occupation of Malaya, who, after being knocked unconscious while escaping from the clutches of the Japanese Army, wakes up in a quiet, sleepy village, seemingly untouched by the war. The villagers give her shelter and she begins a new life there. But soon it becomes clear that the village hides other secrets as well. Aishah is haunted by the presence of a young deformed girl whom no one else can see and she discovers that an unknown evil lurks in the surrounding woods nearby the village, an ancient creature that makes the villagers its prey, a demon known only as Azazil. The villagers keep an uneasy peace with the demon through offerings but the moment Aishah enters the village, the attacks inexplicably begin again.

Hooperz tells the story of a group of young girls who plays for their netball team. The variation of characters and backgrounds of the team players plays a huge role in the film. The playing court will be the place where they escape from their normal daily routine and be free of any problems. All of them in the end formed a net ball team called Hooperz. Eventhough with the many challenges that the characters face in life, it does not dampen their spirit in going to the finals for the Annual Netball Tournament.
