Christopher Wheeldon, today one of the world's most sought-after choreographers, used the popular story of Cinderella as a jumping-off point for an up-to-date, cinematic ballet spectacle. Together with a team of international artists, he's given this well-know fairy tale a new look. His Cinderella is an experience, full of humour and virtuosic dance to which a generous sprinkling of magic has been added.

Christopher Wheeldon's acclaimed new Cinderella for the Dutch National Ballet is an imaginative interpretation of a much-loved classic. Inspired by the original Brothers Grimm fairy tale, Wheeldon gives the characters renewed depth and complexity, complementing Prokofiev's celebrated and colorful score. With sets and costumes by the renowned designer Julian Crouch, supported by stunning stage effects, this world premiere production is a truly magical experience, bringing an age-old fairy tale into the 21st century.

Don Quichot – an audience favourite of prestigious companies worldwide – is a dazzling display of high spirits, virtuosity and Spanish temperament. The flamboyant leaps, dizzying pirouettes and crisp pointe work that are standard features of the production give the performers every opportunity to show off their technical prowess. But at the same time, the comic story based on Cervantes’ masterpiece makes strong demands on the dancers’ acting abilities.

Nureyev & Friends, filmed in HD at Le Palais de Congres in May 2013, features dancers from the world’s finest ballet companies paying tribute to him in an exceptionally prestigious dance gala celebrating the 75th anniversary of his birth.
