During the uprising to overthrow the Shah's regime in Iran, protestors set fire to movie theatres to protest Western culture. Forty years later, four people decide to re-create the past by burning down a theatre.
As Raman prepares to migrate out of Iran, his friends plot the perfect way to celebrate his impending departure. However, their path is plagued with conflict; an unresolved argument over the accidental death of a friend and a conservative elder brother who looks upon their lives with disdain, further resolves to stop the celebration.
Ali learns through medical documents the sudden recurrence of his son's incurable genetic disorder. Deciding to hide the matter from the rest of the family, he finds himself helpless and starts behaving strangely.
