Honest truck driver Balwant watch helplessly as the owners of the trucking company he works for mauled his brother, Jaswant to death. When he lodges a complaint with the police the inspector instead arrest him for this crime; the trucking company owners then burn his house killing his pregnant wife Sumati. Years later Balwant who now calls himself Karamvir operates a court called 'Teesri Adalat' by sentencing wrong-doers to death in a judge and executer style. However he is unaware that Sumati is still alive and has given birth to twins Rajesh and Mahesh; while Mahesh was separated at birth and grows up with Inspector Ram Avtar and his wife - Rajesh is taking care of his mother as she loses her mental balance in the trauma. Rajesh and Mahesh do get to unite as the girls they are in love with are link to each other. After a few misjudgments of situations at hand Rajesh and Mahesh decides that they will bring Teesri Adalat to the court of law - at any cost.

Ram (Mithun Chakraborty) and Sapna Saxena (Shilpa Shirodkar) are in love. Sapna's brother Ranjit Saxena (Shakti Kapoor) is considered as best businessman of India. He is very proud of his wealth and status. He is planning to marry his sister to his business partner Verma's (Raza Murad) house. However, when Ranjit comes to know that his sister is in love with Ram who is merely a motor mechanic, he becomes furious. The history repeats itself when Ram's younger brother Shayam (Irfan Kamal) and Ranjit's sister Divya Saxena (Anita Sharadda Nigam) fall in love. Will Shayam and Divya face the same consequences as Ram and Sapna or Ram will succeed to get his brother's love that is film's climax.

Pitamber Kohli lives an upper middle class existence with his wife, & two brothers, Yeshwant and Pratap. The trio get in the bad books of an underworld don named Swami, who soon they launches a vendetta against them. As a result, Pitamber is killed, and both Yeshwant and Pratap swear to avenge his death. How Swami entraps Pratap, who will be quite helpless especially with his sister still a captive with Swami forms the crux of the story

Now trapped in a marriage with a woman he does not love, Salim continues to frequent Phoolrani's brothel, with hopes of being re-united with his estranged sweetheart - only to find that the seemingly demure Sahira will not let go of him that easily.
