Madness, mayhem, and mummification rites ensue when a documentary filmmaker visits the rural commune of the Osiris Collective, an ancient Egyptian inspired cult, to investigate the disappearance of his ex-girlfriend.

Four friends are forced to spend their last days alive underground in a fallout shelter safe from the anarchy and destruction that has become every day existence. Together they must survive and fend off their own impulses for freedom and escape. Thinking about memories of the past without a future to grab onto, they slowly start to crack.

Eddie Huntly, an east coast radio personality, moves to San Francisco to marry Thea, the sister of his best friend Neil, a successful entrepreneur. Shortly before Eddie's arrival, Neil is found murdered in what the police surmise was a simple mugging gone awry. As the sullen Eddie steps in as interim host of his old friend Dean's late-night talk-radio show, he obsessively makes regular visits to the forested spot where Neil's corpse was found. One such visit unleashes a chain of unpredictable events that sends Eddie snooping into the life of a sleepwalking drifter with a mysterious past.

As a group of wealthy friends decide to celebrate the launch of their tech company with a trip to Cabo, they get more than they bargained for when a mysterious man offers to escort them on his family's vintage cruise ship. Once on board, the family's ulterior motives become clear and the friends are hunted one by one. With everyone stranded at sea with little hope and no connection to the outside world, a Coast Guard team engages for a final deadly confrontation.
