For over five decades, Ozzy Osbourne has personified rock and roll, from his childhood in poverty and time in prison, to fronting metal band Black Sabbath, a successful solo career and a lovable 21st century television dad.

Randy Rhoads’ guitar riffs re-shaped rock ‘n roll and raised the stakes for guitarists around the world. Known primarily as the lead guitarist for Ozzy Osbourne and for his groundbreaking guitar work on the albums “Blizzard of Ozz” and “Diary of a Madman”, Randy spent most of his life playing in a small band known at the time, Quiet Riot. After leaving Quiet Riot to play, record and tour with Ozzy, Randy died at the young age of 25 in a tragic plane crash in Florida. His body died that day, but his soul and music live on forever.

Randy Rhoads, The Quiet Riot Years, a 90-minute documentary film, explores the enduring friendship of Quiet Riot bandmates Randy Rhoads and Kevin DuBrow. Narrated by Quiet Riot photographer, lighting designer, lyricist and friend, Ron Sobol, the film offers a behind-the-scenes portrait of two close friends as they embark on an uphill quest for stardom . Using previously unseen images, rare video footage and period music, along with new and classic interviews, the movie chronicles the five year period (1975-1980) that Sobol was in the trenches with the band. This in depth examination documents in photos and on celluloid, the gradual rise of a Hollywood club band into international superstars. Sobol's unfettered access renders an intimate window into Quiet Riot's meteoric transformation from club band to national sensation.

“Thirty Years After The Blizzard” DVD chronicles Ozzy’s years with Randy Rhoads features previously unseen footage of Ozzy and Randy filmed in 1981 & 1982; it incorporates rare archival photos and films; along with new and revelatory interviews with Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne, Lemmy (Motorhead), Steve Vai, Nikki Sixx, Rob Halford, Zakk Wylde, Bill Ward and more.

This performance was recorded on April 28, 1981, for the TV show After Hours at Studio 31 in Rochester, New York. The set included "I Don’t Know", "Crazy Train", "Mr. Crowley" and "Suicide Solution", along with an interview with Ozzy Osbourne. This footage is the only known professionally recorded video of Randy Rhoads performing full songs live with Ozzy Osbourne. Additional segments featuring Ozzy or Randy aired on Two on the Town, Entertainment Tonight (early 1982), The Rock Report, and MTV, which awarded Randy Rhoads the Best New Talent Award posthumously in March 1982.
