The events in the film are based on the life of the Scholler family of German origin, who lived in Azerbaijan since the 1940s.

The film is about the khan of khans, the brave commander Javad Khan, who fought for his homeland against Russian troops led by Sisianov at the beginning of the 19th century, together with his sons, and died bravely.
