Biography
Raghavendra Rajkumar (born 15 August 1965) is an Indian actor, singer and producer of Kannada cinema. He is the son of actor Dr. Rajkumar and film producer Parvathamma Rajkumar. He made his debut as a lead in the film Chiranjeevi Sudhakar (1988) before appearing in the hugely successful 1989 film Nanjundi Kalyana. He went on to star in films such as Gajapathi Garvabhanga (1989), Anukoolakkobba Ganda (1990), and Geluvina Saradaara (1996).bHis last prominent film was Upendra's Swasthik (1998), a box office failure. He starred in Pakkadmane Hudugi (2004) before taking a fifteen year sabbatical from acting. Since then he has produced television serials under Poornima Productions and films under Sri Vajreshwari Combines

Shiva Mecchida Kannappa
The film is about the life of Kannappa, a hunter who becomes a Lord Shiva devotee. This was the 4th movie as a lead actor for Shivarajkumar, directed by the legendary Vijay who is known for classics like Mayura, Gandhada Gudi among others. This was the only movie in which Dr. Rajkumar, his elder son Shivarajkumar and youngest son Puneeth Rajkumar were seen together. Whereas Dr. Rajkumar’s second son Raghavendra Rajkumar was one of the producers to the movie. The movie was also the alternate version of Dr. Rajkumar’s debut movie Bedara Kannappa.
Inspector Vikram
Vikram aka Inspector Vikram is a happy-go-lucky cop, who has no problem getting himself into trouble with his superiors, especially the police commissioner Chandrashekhar. The music was composed by Vijay Anand and this was the first Kannada feature film in which AR Rahman worked as a Music Arranger.
