The fact that his sister has to get married makes the situation even more difficult for him. Fortunately, he too later realizes that his sister also has a right to her life, that her relationship with her brother hasn't changed, and Simon decides that he too will be as good an uncle, to his little niece, as his older sister was to him.

The real fate of Jiří Arvéd Smíchovský, a prominent hermeticist, occultist, believer in black magic and an exceptionally well-educated person with a brilliant memory.
