The "Fiery Arc" tells of a grandiose battle on the Kursk Bulge in the summer of 1943. Here was the largest tank battle in the history of World War II. Along with the personal fate of the heroes, the film shows battle scenes, the activities of headquarters and intelligence, those who worked at the front and in the rear.

Arriving two days early at the construction site, which had been practically frozen by the previous managers, Makhovikov, the chief engineer of the Yenisei power plant construction, saw the true state of affairs. He resolutely takes up the task.

After losing his parents in the war, the boy ended up in an orphanage, from which he escaped and was taken in by a village teacher. Following in the footsteps of his tutor, Valya Kandaurov graduated from the Pedagogical Institute and began working in a rural school. And then a girl from the city where he was studying came to Vale and invited him to follow her. But neither his career nor the joys of a comfortable life brought him satisfaction and he returned to his homeland.

The events take place in the 1980s and tell about the relationship between three generations in the family of a retired general, whose grandson, having failed to enter the institute, is drafted into the army. The service on the border does not disappoint him, and the young man decides to continue the family tradition.

Based on the novel of the same name by Mikhail Sholokhov, about the fate of people broken by the First World War, the October Revolution of 1917 and the Civil War in Russia (1917-1922), about the collapse of the foundations and ideals of the Don Cossacks of Russia at the beginning of the XX century, about the personal tragedy of the protagonist — Grigoriy Melekhov.

Stepan Ivanovich - a veteran of the party, being in the responsible post of commissar of finance, decided to make a gift to the future generation, for which he hid two pounds of gold. An enterprising typist who helps in writing memoirs, having learned about the hidden treasure, is trying to “help” his grandfather suffering from sclerosis, to remember where he hid it, bringing into the matter her husband and the first psychic they could find. But the old man remembers everything ... except the place where he buried the treasure.

Pavel's mother hates his fiancee. When Pavel serves in the Army she writes him that Nastya is no longer faithful to him. Pavel decides not to return to his native town. But many years later he returns to his fathers funeral and finds out that Nastya died sometime ago. She left three kids orphans and her elder daughter is also a daughter of Pavel.

The movie is based on the the same name novel of the Nobel Prize In Literature Winner Mikhail Sholokhov. The action is taken place in 20-30-s years of the XX century in the Russian countryside going through an uneasy process of collectivization.

The years of the tsar’s adolescence and youth were permeated with deadly danger coming from some of the Boyars, the rebellious Streltsy and Tsarevna Sophia who aspired for power.
