Pradeep Khadka is a prominent Nepalese actor, filmmaker, and scriptwriter who has emerged as one of the leading figures in modern Nepali cinema. He holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration, which he completed before fully committing to his career in the arts. While he made his initial debut in the 2015 film Escape, it was his breakout role in the romantic drama Prem Geet (2016) that catapulted him to stardom. This success led to his involvement in the highly successful Prem Geet franchise, including Prem Geet 3, which made history as a major Indo-Nepali joint production with an international release. Beyond his reputation as a romantic lead in films like Lily Bily and Love Station, Khadka has earned critical acclaim for his versatility in social dramas. His portrayal of the titular character in Prakash (2022) won him the Best Actor award at the Nepal International Film Festival, and his role in Pujar Sarki (2024) further highlighted his commitment to stories addressing complex social issues. Recognized for his significant commercial impact and media presence, he has also served as a brand ambassador for several major global brands.
