Pierre Vassiliu (23 October 1937 – 17 August 2014) was a French singer, songwriter and actor. His first record, "Armand", co-written with his brother Michel, appeared in 1962. It was an enormous success, selling 150,000 copies. This opened the doors of the Olympia in Paris to him, where he opened for the Beatles in 1964. He went on to a two-month stand with Françoise Hardy, Jacques Dutronc, and Johnny Hallyday. He had a string of hits, including "Charlotte", "Ivanhoe", and "La femme du sergent", censored because of the Algerian War. His 1973 song "Qui c'est celui-là?" was a cover of the 1972 song Partido Alto by Chico Buarque. It sold more than 300,000 copies and secured for him a place in the memories of the teenagers of the time. That same year he was also the voice of minstrel Alan-a-Dale in the French version of the Disney animated movie Robin Hood. With his vocal trio, he resurrected the old French song "Belle qui tiens ma vie", sung a cappella. In 2002, he covered Boby Lapointe's "L'Été, où est-il?" with Thallia on the album Boby Tutti-Frutti – L'hommage délicieux à Boby Lapointe by Lilicub. In 2003, he made a CD with Senegalese griots of the Kalone Orchestra of Casamance. Vassiliu lived a part of his life in the Casamance, the region of Senegal lying to the south of the Gambia. The film sounds like a song – one of which we remember the tune, sing a few couplets of and listen to the chorus with pleasure. Each outing is full of surprises and wonderful encounters. Meetings of emerging songs. A staging in small touches – like a chorus. At home, Pierre gets dressed, gets ready, gets dressed, puts on his stage shirt. Once outside, Pierre crisscrosses Sète. A port city where the incentive to travel is almost permanent. Pierre touches the people he meets with humor. The succession of these encounters places the film in the present.

A young student visits the home of a friend who has all the good looks, women and luck. Every day, through binoculars from his friend's window, he sees a young girl in front of her home. Although attractive, the woman's face has been badly scarred. He finds out her phone number and the two engage in pleasant conversation. He gets up enough nerve to ask to meet her in person, but the socially inept young man becomes paralyzed with fear. He again summons the courage to meet with her before he is plagued with fear once again.

An artist grows hateful of commercial demands on his questionable talents when his friend and artist commits suicide. He puts the blame for his friend's death on an art critic and a shady art dealer. He is able to take out his frustrations on the pretentious critic at a party. When an elderly man moves into the boarding house, he brings a machine he invented that can make people realize their subconscious dreams...

An epic six-hour adaptation of Potocki's The Manuscript Found in Saragossa. Most famously filmed by Wojciech Has, this four part adaptation has the advantage of a vastly expanded running time, allowing for more of the novel to be incorporated >> shot on film, it was clearly a very expensive production and is equally spectacular in its own way.

Promising young racing car driver Joe Joe Quillico leaves the stock car racing scene in the United States in order to pursue Grand Prix racing in Europe. After limited success he manages to win the Spanish Grand Prix. His love life however, is much less successful and his winning on the track only serves to alienate the woman he loves - with unhappy consequences.
