Russian actor Philipp Baron (or Filipp Baron) was born on December 20, 1982, in St. Petersburg, Russia. In 2004, he graduated from the Russian State Institute of Performing Arts (formerly known as the Saint-Petersburg Theatre Arts Academy). In the theater, he performed in productions of Anton Chekhov’s The Seagull and The Cherry Orchard, J.B. Priestley’s Dangerous Corner, and Vladimir Nabokov’s Lolita. The first appearance in the movie was in the extras in movie Russian Ark (2002), which are filled with a cast of over 2,000 actors and three orchestras. In 2006, he played a supporting role in the TV romance movie Where Love Lives (2006). The same year, he appeared in Russia’s first interactive drama series, Alice's Dreams (2006). Since 2010, he has appeared in TV series about police officers broadcast on the NTV channel. For example, he played a bandit in episodes of Sea Devils 4 (2010) and The Chief (2012). He also appeared in two episodes of the series Streets of Broken Lights (since 1998).
