Weather Report's landmark concert in Offenbach, Germany on September 28, 1978.

This show was filmed for the famous German TV series Rockpalast in MIDEM in Cannes on 29th January 1986. Pete Townshend's Deep End were touring in support of Townshend's solo concept album "White City: A Novel". Several of the musicians that appeared on the album were featured in the line-up of the Deep End including Pink Floyd's David Gilmour on lead guitar. The set list has tracks from the "White City" album, other Pete Townshend solo tracks, Who classics, David Gilmour's song "Blue Light" and a couple of surprises. Pete Townshend and the band deliver an outstanding performance that showcases him as a solo artist as distinct from his work with The Who.

After his departure from Deep Purple in 1993, Ritchie Blackmore reformed Rainbow with a new line-up and went into the studio to record the acclaimed “Stranger In Us All” album. The band then took to the road for an extensive tour which included this 1995 live concert in Dusseldorf filmed for Germany’s famous Rockpalast TV series. The set features several tracks from the “Stranger In Us All” album alongside classic Rainbow and Deep Purple tracks. The band are on blistering form and Ritchie Blackmore shows just why he is so revered as a guitarist. This previously unreleased show is a great addition to any Rainbow fan’s collection.

Since her solo debut in 1978, Nina Hagen has been considered the enfant terrible of the German music scene. Their shrill performances like the one on December 9, 1978, in Dortmund's Westfalenhalle remain unmatched to this day. There she and her band (the later Spliff) underlined their deserved status as the "Godmother of Punk".

In June 1982 Golden Earring perfomed at Cologne for Rockpalast and this DVD includes the Rockpalast concert including the band’s mega hits Radar Love and Twilight Zone. This concert from the Stadthalle Offenbach in Germany was filmed on June 11th. 1978 for the German Rockpalast TV series and perfectly captures the raw excitement of the original Bat Out Of Hell tour with Meat Loaf dominating the stage and the album s songwriter Jim Steinman contributing heavily.
