Biography
Studies He was born in Athens in 1955. He studied at the School of Mathematics of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, at the same time he studied "Directing" at the Lykourgos Stavrakos School. He has attended screenwriting and production workshops and seminars. With the script of his second feature film, "The Gentleman in Grey", he participated in the "Sources" workshop of the EU Media program. The script was analyzed by Jan Fleischer. With the scripts of his films: "Eyes from Night" and "The Manager", he participated in the script workshops of the "Mediterranean Film Institute" (MFI). Jan Fleischer was the script analyst for both of these films. He speaks English and French. Artistic work Assistant Director: From 1976 to 1992 he worked as an assistant director alongside the directors: George Panousopoulos, Andrea Thomopoulos, Alexis Damiano, Takis Papagiannidis, but mainly alongside Pantelis Voulgaris. Documentary director: He directed documentaries for the shows "Athens is not only Greece", "E.R.T. in Northern Greece", "The E.R.T. all over Greece", "Small portraits", "Background". In 2011, he wrote and directed the 13-episode documentary series "I met happy craftsmen" for ET-1. In 2013, on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the liberation of Kavala, he wrote and directed the documentary "Kavala - Reflections of yesterday, transformations of today".

"The quarantine of 2020 was a big surprise for everyone. Milena, a film student is locked in her parents' house. She is not allowed to travel, so she is forced to spend the quarantine and the Easter holidays alone. The situation with the corona virus makes her feel alone and imprisoned, while her dreams, goals and life are postponed along with the end of the lock down, so she chooses to spend her time, continuing her life inside a video game, while time around her he passes, without her. Lefteris
The introduction of this film is set during the time of the Junta (1967-1974) when the main character (Lefteris Dimakopoulos) used to work at the fish-market in Mesolonggi in order to be able to finish his studies at the Polytechnic University. Later on, we watch Lefteris’ life through his relationship with Dimitra, a fellow student. The ups and downs in their relationship during the course of their studies end up in a deadlock, in which they sacrifice their relationship to their quest for success.

Eleftherios Venizelos: 1910-1927
A biographical film about the great Greek politician Eleftherios Venizelos for the period between 1910-1927. The film highlights his vision of a Greater Greece and refers to important events in Greek history such as the formation of a government by Venizelos after the Goudi movement, his dispute with the King over Greece's stance in the First World War, the temporary his withdrawal from politics after his defeat in the 1920 elections and the Asia Minor disaster. Quiet Days in August
The stories of three lonely people surviving a sweltering summertime in Athens are interwoven in this gentle romantic drama. Nikos used to be a merchant seaman, traveling around the globe to exotic places and testing his wits and his mettle in different situations. Now he is retired, living in Athens with his wife whom he no longer loves. While at the train station, he encounters a woman who faints more or less into his arms. From her, he learns that this day has already been special to her for two reasons: her husband just died, and it is her birthday. Curiously, this meeting sparks new life in him. Another man suffering through the hot Athens summer is a bank employee who gets calls every day at four p.m. from a woman who seeks to arouse him. What she succeeds in doing is rousing his curiosity, which he is likely to regret giving in to.

Honeymoon
Taxidi Tou Melitos is about the fear that most elderly people experience: approaching death. Leon (Stavros Xenides) and Zaharoula (Betty Livanou) are heading out for their annual vacation at a summer resort. Instead of their usual carefree anticipation, their mood is subdued because their daughter has just married and is off on her honeymoon. Life is lonely without her and the couple cannot avoid the realization that death is not that far away for them. Once at the resort, Leon tries to overcome this nagging fear by taking a wild plunge in the ocean, naked, as he and Zaharoula are out walking on the beach. Taken up in the spirit of the moment, she joins him among the waves. The results, however, are not what they expected.
