Daughter Lea persuades Véronique to attend her father's funeral in the south of France. It soon turns out that the family is completely at odds.

A return to the family home after several years to attend her father's funeral leads to expectations for Veronique to take over the village surgery and help with the family olive grove. However there are complications including past family history which light the path ahead for Veronique.
