The crimes on Rua do Arvoredo is a true episode, which occurred between 1863 and 1864, in the city of Porto Alegre, capital of the Brazilian state of Rio Grande do Sul. The unusual practice of crimes was done in the following way: the accused attracted victims to kill them and disposed of body parts by producing human meat sausages to be sold in a butcher shop in the city.
