Three pedigree chumps learn that every underdog has its day in this freewheeling Irish comedy. In hock to the tune of £50,000 to a Belfast bookie and saddled with a dopey greyhound that wouldn't run if its backside was on fire, the likely lads head south on a road trip in the hope of seeing a man about a dog. Pat Shortt in comedy stand up - Its the final night in the hall at rathmuff before its due to be demolished and the locals decide to show a film. The local characters turn out in force to bid a farewell to the hall, like patsy the hall caretaker, who patrols the aisle to make sure there is notrhing dirty going on, Sheamie the builder who comes in to demolish the place and dympna the air hostess who lives on in sheamies dreams as one of his more memorable flights. This is one on the mostdaring productions ever staged in the community hall, but regardless of who you meet they will tell you the same thing,... you wont get away with that here!

Due to a learning disability, Josie's life in a tiny town revolves around a menial job taking care of a garage that could close at any day. Things start to change, however, when David, the son of his boss' girlfriend, comes to work with him. Josie hangs out with David and his teenage friends, bringing them beer, and despite being a grown man himself, finds that the new company lifts his spirits. But his simple-mindedness blinds him to some potential legal dangers.

Ollie sends off for Dutch skin magazines that the village postmistress won't release to him. The men, and women, find counsel in their movie-loving priest. Will anyone answer the ad?
