The protagonist was sent to South America after the war. Now he is back home and wants to meet his old love. At the same time, he takes on the job of looking after his in-laws' children, two very bad boys, while their parents are on holiday abroad. What will become of it? In the film - which combines six stories - men of different ages, types and outlooks on life express their views on women, love, marriage, the problems of finding a partner, and discuss possible variations in the relationship between men and women. In the first story, the 50-year-old András Szalók recounts the disappointment of his life to a 20-year-old taxi driver, and takes lessons from the philosophically inclined young man who teaches him with unfailing certainty how to treat women.The closing parable, the story of the beggar and the grand vizier, reveals that men can never learn for the rest of their lives when and how to influence women...

A screen adaptation of Herbert W. Franke's science fiction novel "The Orchid's Cage". The story is set in a world where humans have been reduced to immobile plants, orchids. They are fed and entertained by machines. They have had everything in life, they have no need for anything but pleasure, and so they have gradually degenerated. Humans appear on the alien planet, but they too are just having fun. Soon they too become orchids.

On the Spring of 1945 the Jackson circus is heading towards the border with the clown Peti and Aida, the elephant. They have to play for the Hungarian Fascists, while Peti is hiding the Jew Annuska and Sanyika.
