Folk home rock and vadmals blues for full houses and standing ovations, and it makes Berit and Börje's hearts a little tight because they remember how it was once there in the late 50s.
Ten-year-old Asko feels alone after his parents' divorce. He finds security with his grandmother, who lives in Åland. They can talk about everything and Asko loves their fantasy trips on the ship Sagolika. One day, his mother meets a new man, who she hopes will be a great new father for Asko.
