When Ella, the rich daughter of a corrupt banker, escapes from her arranged wedding and hides in the trunk of a Bentley,she meets Richie, a small town crook who has just stolen the Bentley. Together they stage her disappearance as a kidnappingin order to get as much money as possible from her parents.

Because they got into a fight with party animal and mayoral candidate Benny Jagschitz, Flo Kienzl was thrown out of the police and Eddi Kovac went to jail. Now Eddi is on probation, just about to start a new life, when Flo stands on the mat: worn out, clever and with a really good reason.

In Krawutzi Kaputzi, characters from Austrian children's television in the 1970s and 1980s make a comeback. Johannes Glück has written a play that shows the lives of the characters in Meidling (a district of Vienna) two decades after their great television careers.

The delightful light operatic farce by Johann Strauss is presented at the Morbisch Lake Festival (Seefestspiele Mörbisch) starring Herbert Lippert, Richard Samek, Heinz Zednik and Dagmar Schellenberger.
