Pupá lives in Acari, RN, where her vibrant and original presence symbolizes joy and freedom. In her daily life, she juggles domestic work, her job as a lottery ticket seller, and making herbal syrups. On weekends, Pupá sets aside her chores and finds in serenades, forró dances, rivers, and reservoirs the space to reaffirm her right to live her own autonomy.
"Morada" is an experimental documentary that shows a little about the city of Acari, located in Seridó Potiguar. It has the main participation of Eilson Amarildo, better known as Negão Azul, who unloads fruits, vegetables and groceries in the municipality of Acari and neighboring regions.
Iara, a girl who is about to come of age, dreams of seeing the ocean, but lives in Rio Grande do Norte's countryside with her mother, a woman who's dreams were swallowed by the waves and who fears of losing her daughter.
