Haji Salleh who was seperated by his family in Singapore fell sick when he was in Mecca. He had a wife, Ainon, a daughter Petum and a son Bahar who is an Inspector Police. Before he passed away he made a will who was entrusted to Sidek to be given to his family. As he arrived back in Singapore the beg which had the letter and money in it was stolen by Kamal, who stole the money and through it away. Kamal not later after that was arrested by the police. By coincidence, Kamal's daughter was Inspector Bahar's boyfriend. Sidek came to the Police Station as he heard about the arrest that has been made to the thief who stole the money. But he was taken back when he saw the face of the criminal who resembled so much of his friend who passed away, Haji Salleh.

A man falls in love with a woman above his station. Zul is working at a stable owned by Johan. Eventually at the same time Zul fell in love with Johan's daughter Jelita. But after being ridiculed and mocked by Johan and his friends Husin, Zul resigned from his job and wanted to be a sailor instead. But unfortunately the ship he was on was hit with a big tidal wave and began sinking. Zul ended being thrown on the shore of an island not known to him. Will he ever see his Jelita again after this? How will he ever find a way to save his own life?

Hassan (P. Ramlee) is 10 when his father died. His mother had died when he was younger. His late father's boss feels sorry for Hassan and adopts him. However, Hassan's foster father's own child, Aziz (Jins Shamsudin) is jealous of Hassan and hates him. When both of them have fully grown up, Aziz and Buang (Salleh Kamil) always bully Hassan. At the same time, Salmah (Saadiah) has developed a crush towards Hassan, fuelling Aziz's fury. When the Second World War is approaching, the Royal Malay Regiment begins recruiting young soldiers.

Set sometime after the events of the previous film, Haji Bakhil's wife has died. Haji Bakhil is alone and depressed, but eventually meets a beautiful young woman named Murni, who is a teacher at a school for orphans. Haji Bakhil spends some time pursuing her, and his attention is apparently not unwelcome.
Film Kaseh Sayang is a a Malay film which was published in Malaysia in 1957. The film issued in the form of black and white film without color. After entrusting her baby girl Sukartini to the servant, Kartini leaves Singapore with her husband, Sudanto, to avoid the war. Halimah, the servant takes great care of the child despite her hardship and poverty. After the liberation of Singapore, Kartini returns to take her child back. Halimah is not willing to let go of Sukartini and runs away with her. She is caught eventually and sentenced to a year’s imprisonment. Though Sudanto and his wife win the child over, their hopes are shattered, as the child does not regard them as her parents.

'Mata Hari', the daughter of a kampong headman is captured by the Japanese. A GoGo 67 is an alluring snapshot of the Beatles-influenced “Pop Yeh Yeh” movement that was exploding throughout Malaysia back in the 60s. Fauziah works days as a shop girl while Joe labors at a stable. When night time comes, the two would dedicate their time practicing with their beat band, Dendang PerinduThis is an activity that Fauziah must keep secret from her father (Ahmad Nisfu), a blustering martinet who loudly objects to the youth music of today with all of its “yeah yeah yeah”-ing.

The story revolves around a poor but honest cobbler, Sabarudin, who is influenced by a friend that honesty does not pay. He later claims himself as a jewel merchant and gains the trust and money of the city merchants. Soon the merchants feel cheated and lodge a report to the Sultan. A legendary folklore film. Religious leader Tun Jana Khatib and his 2 followers come to Singapore from Pasai to trade. However, due to the rivalry between the Temenggong and the King’s aide, Tun Jana Khatib is slandered. He's sentenced to death and the King’s aide sentenced to life imprisonment. One night, several fishermen are attacked and killed by swordfish. At the coast of Singapore, with his courtiers, the King is also attacked. The Temenggong orders that villagers be used as human shields against the attack. The young son of the King's aide, Hang Nadim, suggests that banana tree trunks be used instead. It works and in return, the King agrees to release his father. However, the sly Temenggong instigates the King against Hang Nadim and his father.
