Amy, the wife of an English governor, falls in love with Parithi, a villager, and they run away. However, they are caught and she is taken back to London. Years later, she comes back in search of him.
Shiva, an engineering graduate, is not serious about his job or future even when his friends advise him about life. He falls in love with a girl he saw at a bus stop and finally gets to ride with her in a car.
Sathyanathan is a typical middle class man who has just retired. He wants to buy a plot of land in the city and move in with his wife and children - Uppilinathan(Karthik Kumar), Vishwanathan and Sindhu. But his son Uppilinathan - who is a software engineer - has no interest in the house and is keen to leave India for New York, where he has obtained a job. Sathyanathan buys the plot from "World Famous Properties" which is managed by Vijayakumar.
Two people attempt to restart their romance after a major breakdown, believing that a “reset” will fix what went wrong. Just as hopeful habits begin, the shoals of memory, regret and new expectations force them to search for what they really want. A loop of love, loss and renewal takes them through familiar terrain with unfamiliar stakes.
