After being out of town for a while, Russell comes back home to the life he left behind. He’s got to face his ex-boyfriend Aaron, and confront the only family he knows – his brother Robert, who is against his sexuality.

While on the night shift in A&E, overworked Junior Doctor, Sam Bloom, fails to save the life of a young mother. His mental state is further destabilised by the swift arrival of a paranoid patient named Laura. Throughout the remainder of the night, the relentless pressure overwhelms him as he battles to save Laura and maintain the doctor's oath, 'first, Do No Harm'.
