After a heartbreak, northern laborer Duang makes his way to Bangkok where he is accidentally hit by a car. He recovers at the home of an influential record producer, and finds a passion for singing.

A poor man named Klae encounters a young orphan with the same name as him. They both form an instant connection as both had been harassed by the mafia. The older Klae eventually finds work as a singer and eventually finds love.
