On October 29th and 30th, 2009, rock 'n' roll royalty held court at Madison Square Garden for what have been called 'the best concerts ever,' and 'where rock 'n' roll history was made.' The concerts featured a who's who of rock 'n' roll from the '50s to the '90s and included artists performing together in unprecedented combinations that will most likely never be witnessed again. 'The 25th Anniversary Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Anniversary Concerts' included sets by Crosby, Stills & Nash; Stevie Wonder; Paul Simon; Simon & Garfunkel; Aretha Franklin; Metallica; U2; Jeff Beck and Bruce Springsteen & the E-Street Band. Joining this iconic line up on stage were special guests including: Jerry Lee Lewis, Bonnie Raitt, Jackson Browne, Smokey Robinson, B.B. King, Annie Lennox, Lou Reed, John Fogerty, Mick Jagger, Fergie and others. A 4-hour special of the concerts aired on HBO to high ratings, and was seen by tens of millions. Now this historic event is available on DVD.

The documentary provides an unprecedented glimpse into Young and Crazy Horse’s creative process, as they took to tape in Colorado’s Rocky Mountains during the Covid-19 pandemic. Kicking off with a note of gratitude from Young (“I’m so glad we’re fuckin’ here!”), the trailer shows what things were like as the legendary band got back into their element, in the wild, making music in a restored, 19th-century log barn under a full, glowing moon. The Godfather of Grunge is captured live on his TRANS tour on this release filmed in Berlin in October 1982. The gravel-voiced, messy rock legend is as impassioned as ever, banging out 11 hits, including the classics "Hey Hey, My My," "Like a Hurricane," "Cinnamon Girl," and "Needle and the Damage Done" as well as such new songs as "Transformer Man" and "Computer Age."

Unplugged is a 1993 live album by Neil Young. It contains a previously unreleased song "Stringman", that dates from 1976. The taping of the show was also released on VHS. The recording of this installment of the MTV series "Unplugged" was rife with tension, as Young was not happy with the performances of almost everyone in the band. In fact, the released version is actually the second attempt made at recording a set suitable for airing and release.
