Nikolay Khomeriki (Russian: Никола́й Фе́ликсович Хомери́ки; born April 17, 1975; Moscow) is a Russian film director and screenwriter. His film "977" was screened in the Un Certain Regard section at the 2006 Cannes Film Festival and "Tale in the Darkness" at the 2009 Cannes Film Festival.

He was his absolute copy – his gestures, body language and jokes were so real, no one suspected the change. Bogdanov looked at the screen as if it was mirror. the double has taken over his tV-show, held meetings with his fans, lived with his women and had drinks with his friends. Bogdanov’s life and identity were erased in an instant. Popular, successful and cynical writer Bogdanov lost everything he has been working on for years building his career. As he clearly sees that the double is better and sincerer than he, he realizes the battle of his life is lost. the only one who wants to have real Bogdanov back is his daughter...

The film is about the long-term relationship between the director and the character of her first film, the French indie artist, musician and director Siegfried, known as Sig. The story is dedicated to the experience of growing up, emancipation and finding their own identity in life and in art. The film raises questions about the nature of the student-teacher relationship, which inevitably involves submission and conflict, and the nature of the director and hero relationship, which is based on love and a little manipulation.

Lev Nikolaevich, Levanka, Levochka, as his many friends call him, is a successful, glamorous, Moscow photographer. He's smart, good-natured. And he is an absolutely cynical person who can be rude to people. He lives in a world where talent, success and fame are valued above all else. At the same time, he is very childish, but does not realize this. The childhood fears are still inside him.

A portrait of modern-day Moscow seen through the eyes of five women: a lawyer, a merchandiser, an interpreter, a marketing expert, and an actress.

The film speaks about universal themes of love, hate and search for love. The portrait of three women represents these three states. Tanya Neubivko has never been in love but optimistically is searing for it. Her unfortunate and even dangerous encounters with strangers on dates almost got her killed. Rita is happily engaged and planning a wedding after a routine medical check-up. Nadya is a very unhappy doctor who hates her husband and finds relief in alcohol. The story takes place in a surreal hospital with the leaking roof and hollow walls and constantly smoking doctors, where Rita is destined to die.

The characters have volunteered for the experiment to be put through not only scientific researching, but also through the everyday trials of friendship, love, attractions, envy and “the strongest of affects” – the curiosity. Thus, the scientific experience turns into human one, and a result is unpredictable…
