Film about a group of kids helping solve a gang of criminals.

Early 1921: a man is on his way home. Gleb Chumalov, regimental commander, worker and Hero of the Order of the Red Banner, returns to his home town from the Civil War. The victory over the enemies of the Russian people gives him the conviction that a new, better time will dawn overnight. Gleb looks for his comrades from earlier years, but only finds people who are emaciated by their efforts. The cement works where he used to work has been plundered and abandoned. With great effort, Gleb and his comrades try to get the plant up and running again. The struggle seems to begin anew... It is the time after the victory of the “Great October Socialist Revolution“ and the time of building a new society.

Each individual member of a rural cooperative family is entitled to a plot of land for personal use. The large Sedmak family lives together, but the eldest son Kram wants them to fictitiously split up in order to get more land. Despite his parents' reluctance, Krum and his wife leave. Krum and his family maintain a separate household, although the whole family continues to dine together. Unaware of what has happened is his younger brother Nayden, who is in love with the cooperative chairman's daughter. One day the Sedmaks forget to lock the door, and the chairman Geras enters and sees them eating dinner together. The fraud is uncovered... The chairman forbids his daughter Yanka to meet Nayden. After the fateful dinner, there is a rift in the Sedmak family. Nayden leaves his father's house. Sandy and Kram confess their guilt. Yanka, after some thought, returns to Nayden. They leave together to study in the city....

1197. King Kaloyan ascends the throne in hard times for Bulgaria. The country is still recovering from a century of Byzantine subjugation. He is forced to carry out a very flexible foreign policy in order to strength his positions. Pope Innocent III recognizes him as Emperor (Tsar), but a little later the fourth Crusade crosses the country under Emperor Baldwin. A new conflict is coming. Tsar Kaloyan wages the decisive battle at Adrianople and wins.

War has come to a small Bulgarian town. The boy Mitko befriends a wounded partisan whom he hides in his attic. When the partisan goes into the forest, Mitko and his parents go with him. So the boy, having interrupted his childhood games, becomes a full-fledged member of the partisan detachment. One day, heroically defending his wounded comrades, Mitko dies in an unequal battle with the Nazis.

Abundant supplies of imported vaccine prove ineffective against an outbreak of foot-and-mouth disease epidemic in several population centers. Warehouse manager Rashkov has been found dead. Major Zahov has to investigate the case.

1950s, Bulgaria. A man has been killed in a quiet little village.

The main character is a commander of a nuclear powered submarine. Once a very promising hydroacoustics expert, he sacrificed his scientific career to devoting himself to serving his homeland as a warrior. Gradually, he figures out that the worth of mastering the art of war is in its non-appliance.
Мinko, a storekeeper in "The Black River" logging camp courts his assistant Sevda. He goes down to the town hoping to be with her on New Year's Eve. There he spots his wife Donka arriving from the village. Minko keeps out of sight and Donka sets out for the "The Black River". The lorry driver Dobri joins her. During the long and difficult journey over the snow-covered mountain, the two are attracted to each other.
