Alessandro, a young, idealistic, and romantic film director, crosses paths with Emma, a perfectionist theatre actress whose dream is to perform on stages across Europe. We accompany the protagonists on a journey through a timeless Madrid, filled with colorful characters such as: a megalomaniacal and jealous actor named The Interesting Actor; an obscene film producer called Stefano Clemente; and a priest and a nun searching for anisette. These almost phantasmagorical figures compel the two young protagonists to question their ways of believing and loving.
