Raised in California, the son of a prominent political family, eleven-year-old Alex travels to Crete to be the godfather of a local party leader's baby. He will become a godfather for the first time to prove to everyone, and especially to his father, that he is a worthy son. His foreign appearance, his difficulty with Greek, the peculiarities of the Cretans, and the trials he must undergo to be accepted as the son of the Chief, give rise to a comedy with a political background, existential anxieties, and intense comic-tragic situations.

A satire of life in modern Greece, presented through a series of different stories about sex. There are several couples and their relation with sex in parallel stories that come together in a hilarious way.

Athens by the 50's. A widowed mother is trying to raise her 3 children. Among them, there's only one son which she prefers the most. early in his childhood he appears to be "special". He opposed to his family, to the social standards and he made friendships with people of the same sex. His passion for dance led him to Paris where his homosexual relations bloomed. Athens by the 80's. He returned back. His artistic failure and his bad relationship with his mother led him into prostitution, working in transsexual cabarets, prison and changing sex, while his mother was unable to follow his changes and his life style

Sofia panics during the planning of her wedding. A jumble of thoughts and images triggers an anxiety that Sofia struggles against and trying to overcome.

A wedding spirals out of control before it even begins, a well-intentioned favor leads to a trip to Crete full of misunderstandings and family tensions, and a few "innocent" favors entangle people and relationships, creating a chain of unpredictable, hilarious, and touching situations.

The story of three mothers whose children are involved in a dramatic story. Thus we can see the interpretation of a tragic event, not from the side of the media, the law or society as a whole, but from the side of the MOTHER... of any mother.
