This is a story of a small town girl named Nastya. Her newly married husband Ivan drives her to his hometown to meet his family. Upon their arrival Nastya feels she made a wrong decision: she is surrounded by weird people and she sees creepy photos all around the house. Ivan disappears while his family prepares Nastya for a mysterious traditional Russian wedding ceremony. She struggles to calm herself down hoping all this will end and they will live happily ever after. Only if she stays alive...

Many years after a deadly terrorist siege in a Moscow theatre, survivor Natalya returns to the crime scene to hold a memorial evening, finally able to confront her survivor's guilt and her estranged daughter and husband.

What is March 8th? It's spring, the sun, tulips, mom's smile and the anticipation of falling in love and happiness. There is also a fuss, congratulations, queues in shops, flowers and an endless race for gifts. Every year, on this day, there is a global collapse in which everything is dedicated to women.
