The 2004 Opus Arte DVD release of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart's Don Giovanni (recorded at Teatro alla Scala in 1987) is highly regarded by English-language critics as a definitive "traditional" production, notable for its legendary collaboration between conductor Riccardo Muti and director Giorgio Strehler.

Singers Susan Patterson, Robert Gambill, Natale de Carolis and Monica Bacelli fill the theater with their soaring voices in this 1992 production staged by director Michael Hampe at the elegantly cozy Rococo Theatre, in the quaint town of Schwetzingen, Germany.
Bruno Bartoletti conducts the orchestra and chorus of the Teatro alla Scala in this production of Puccini's opera from 2003. The performers include Cristina Gallardo-Domas, Hei-Kyung Hong, Marcelo Alvarez and Roberto Servile.
